I got the number 1 combo with Tri Tip, Baked beans, and Mac n' Cheese. My husband got a number 1 combo as well with Ribs, Mac n' Cheese, and potato salad! The food was amazing!! Priced well, portioned well, and flavored is outstanding. I'd go as far and say this is probably the best bbq in Sac! The young man helping us at the counter, I'm assuming this was the owners son, was wonderful! He was super positive, respectful, and helpful! Once our meal was ready he presented it to us to ensure that everything was correct. Only downside is the drink situation. Only canned soda and a bit on the more expensive side. Also no diet drink options, which as a type one diabetic is usually my only option aside from water. Though that's more of a personal thing for me! This will not stop us from returning though! We will definitely be back! (They do have beer and what looked to be wine options as well!)

My wife found this place on the way to our kids sports game. Honestly I was a bit skeptical when we walked in. The place was empty and lights down low. We were greeted with a smile and warm welcome though. We looked over the menu and ordered. Server brought us out cinnamon water that was an amazing hit with us, we now have a pitcher of it in our fridge. Food came out and we were more than satisfied. Collard greens, Mac and cheese, ribs, tri tip, hot links and chicken all were fire. When we went to leave the place started filling up so I'm thinking it was more of a timing thing, we got lucky. Definitely recommend this bbq joint, they seem to be hot or miss in these parts and this one was definitely a hit. We'll be back to try the pies.

We were in mood for barbeque, and found this place through Yelp. It wasn't far from our hotel, which was a bonus. It was quiet when we came in, people playing or watching a chess game, a person having their meal in the corner but we did go early, so I imagine it would be busier as the evening went on. We decided on the two item combo, so that we could have a taste of their menu. The wait wasn't long and we asked about the pie, since we didn't see any displayed but apparently they were kept in the back. There was a choice of two pies, I forgot what the other one was but refrigerator pie was mentioned. Never having this before and hubby loves pie, we ordered a slice as I figured I would get a taste of his. He was so nice (sorry I didn't get his name) gave us two slices so I could have my own. When we got back to the hotel and I lifted my box out of the bag, it was pretty hefty and opened it to a full box of food. I got the ribs and tri-tip, and hubby got the ribs and links. I love a wet barbecue and this certainly fit the bill. The sauce was tangy and yummy. We had the beans and potato salad sides. Hubby inhaled his entire box except for the potato salad (normally doesn't eat this, so more for me!) I did taste the link and I love it! Perfectly spiced! The ribs were great as was the tri-tip. Absolutely tender. I could not finish my meal and saved the balance for our lunch on the way home. Yes, we'll be back on our next trip up that way, hopefully in April.

When I walked into my parent's house with this food, everyone knew that I'd gone to Our Family. The first words out of my brothers mouth were " did you get the trip tip?" Uh, hell yes! I also got Mac n cheese (I'd pass on it), baked beans (to die for), and the piece de resistance: hot links. I flew across the country for this ish, and it was worth every penny. I'm glad the first bbq shop I went to was closed, or I would've missed out on some of the best bbq I've ever had. It's located in a strip mall, where people visiting the other business sniff the air and say "damn, that bbq smells good". Upon hearing that, I hurried inside. The guy there (who is apparently a co owner with his wife), quickly went over the menu with me, took my order, and was back faster than you can say banana cream pudding. I ate probably half the food in the car, I wouldn't wait! I'll be back here on future visits!

Amazing, friendly service. A bit slow to come out because they prep orders one at a time. Ice box pie was just okay, the lemon/lime flavor was really artificial and the crust was a bit too loose for me. The barbecue was great though, definitely worth the extra $2 for tri tip. I'm not usually a potato salad fan but theirs was delicious! Super cute back patio area as well.

Arrived here at 5pm On a Friday. There were only two other couples here eating so we got service very quickly. It's a small black owned barbecue place with cute decor. Very Sacramento Kings inspired with the black and purple vibes. They specialize in tri-tip, hot links and chicken. I had the number one combo plate with their tri-tip with a side of their beans and their mac & cheese. Their barbecue sauce is homemade and delicious. The portions are ample and I definitely had leftovers to take home. The place is located in the McDonald's parking lot in the back corner.

After years of searching, OF-BBQ/Pie has ended my quest for the best BBQ in the Sacramento area. I stopped in OF-BBQ at around 4:15pm and was welcomed in with a, "Is this your first time here?" I responded with, "sure is... what do you recommend?" After a bit of guidance, I ended up ordering the Combo #2 with ribs and tri-tip. Everything was done to perfection. The BBQ sauce was the best I've had in California. The sides of potato salad and baked beans were unexpectedly amazing; the baked beans were especially delicious... nothing like I've ever tasted. It all looked and tasted so good that my inner glutton took over causing me to forget snapping a photo of my meal. If you have not tried OF-BBQ, you should.

**Our Family BBQ and Pie Take and Bake - Sacramento, CA** Steve, the owner, is running an amazing show here. The menu may be simple, but it's nothing short of finger-licking good! The meats are slow-cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, and the sauce has just the right amount of sour tinge to elevate every bite. This combo couldn't get any better. The four sides? They hit like a Mack truck! We couldn't finish them all, so we took the rest home to savor later. And that cinnamon water? Unique and thirst-quenching--definitely something you don't find every day. If you're a BBQ aficionado like me, do not pass up the opportunity to feast here. This is Sacramento BBQ style at its finest. We're definitely coming back for more! The place has an inside diner feel and a porch combo with great music on the system. Amazing vibe!

I was craving ribs during the Super Bowl, and by happenstance, there was one closeby. I'm glad I swung by! It's located in an area with sufficient parking. The place is clean and very spacious. My order was promptly taken and order was ready within 10 min. I ordered a combo #2 and got the ribs, tri-tip, beans and mac & cheese. Although the mac & cheese was so-so, everything else was amazing! Large servings (meat) for the price. I definitely could not eat this in one sitting. I'll be back!
